Thank you
As I begin my Substack journey, a thank you for those who have joined in so far
Hello all,
Just a quick thank you for subscribing to my Substack as I’ve now passed 1,000 subscribers. I know it’s free (though I hope to be able to generate modest income from it some day in the future) but it’s still a commitment to agree to get another thing to read, even if not every day.
I’ll continue to bring you my honest non-partisan (almost anti-partisan) opinion and analysis of things going on in the world, the country, and Colorado (though my focus has mostly been national stuff so far.)
I’m still experimenting with what works best, i.e. more video (I think that’s a yes), optimal length of articles (my friend Greg says I should make them a bit shorter), subjects that you care about most (don’t be shy about telling me), etc.
Again, thank you for subscribing and please do tell your friends.
All the best,
Ross
p.s. Huge thank you to the great Paul Mauro at The Ops Desk, and my brilliant friends and occasional show guests Doomberg, Dr. Matthew Wielicki, Roger Pielke Jr., Robert Bryce, Bruce Mehlman and anybody else who has been willing to recommend my Substack to their followers. I’m grateful for the compliment and the confidence.
p.p.s. Please listen to my radio show or catch the podcast. All can be found at http://rosskaminsky.com or on the iHeartRadio App tuned to KOA or, if you’re in Colorado or several nearby states, on 850 AM (or 94.1 FM but that signal is really only Denver Metro). I’m on 6 AM to 9 AM MT. For those who don’t know the show, probably only 1/4 to 1/3 of it is political, though it can vary by day. I also try to talk about culture, science, random wacky stuff, and interview lots of authors and other interesting guests. Hopefully it’s a show that, at least most of the time, will keep you interested, thinking, and entertained.

I'll write about this soon, maybe for tomorrow.
Do not agree with the “shorter articles” suggestion. Substance over style, please. Too much media today is “ short attention span” superficial pap. You’re smart: don’t be afraid to show it and assume we’re not…
