So many administration lies (about the MN shooting)
The ICE agent won't be charged with a crime but I believe it was not a "good shoot"
I maintain my view that 1) Ms Good was not intending to hit the ICE agent, 2) the ICE agent was not in front of the vehicle when he fired his weapon, 3) if he was bumped by the SUV, which is not clear, it was only because he was leaning back toward the vehicle from a position just to its side, so that he could get an angle to shoot the driver. And 4) while I realize that the agent, in the moment, might not have seen this, it’s clear that the driver is turning the wheel more and more to the right as she’s moving forward, indicating (to me) an effort to pass the agent, not to hit him.
As you can see in the video, the agent’s feet are to the side, not the front, of the vehicle when he leans toward the front windshield and fires through it, then fires at least once more through the open side window.
By the way, remember that the federal government lied to the world about the woman in Chicago whom they said had rammed a federal vehicle and they charged her with a crime for that, only to have it proven that the feds rammed her (and the charges were dropped.) They also claimed she had an illegal weapon but then never charged her with that. And the agent who shot (but did not kill her) was bragging about how many holes he put in her body. And she too was called a “domestic terrorist.” I am not saying these people are behaving well. They are deluded and they are breaking the law. But I’m so sick of our government lying to us to make excuses to shoot people, and I’m sick of the “conservatives” who keep looking for excuses to justify it.
Ms Good made a whole bunch of mistakes, starting with thinking that it was a good idea to oppose the mission of ICE and then that it was her job to physically try to stop them. She absolutely deserved to be arrested.
She did not deserve to die and despite all the disgusting cries of “domestic terrorism” by Sec Noem and the ridiculous claim by Pres Trump that the agent was lucky to escape with his life, the truth is that the agent was not in danger. And, importantly, even if he thought he might have been that does not inherently justify the use of lethal force. He could have done something less.
Perhaps it was a mistake to put a guy who had recently been injured by being dragged by a vehicle back in a position where he might fear it would happen again and thus cause him to either fail to exercise good judgment or to look to hurt someone.
The more of the video I see, the clearer it is that the ICE agent was in the wrong (and that Ms Good was also in the wrong.)
This is the Trump administration so I doubt the agent will even be disciplined for killing someone in a situation where he did not need to discharge a weapon.
It’s very important that you watch the video yourself. Don’t believe Noem or Trump or Vance though Vance did admit yesterday that it’s possible to watch the video and believe that “it’s not clear what happened.” Coming from him, that’s quite an admission...because the more you watch the video, the more it becomes clear that the agent was not in front of the vehicle when he fired.

Well stated and my thoughts exactly! I was about to post something very similar but will refer to you instead. I’m in L.E. And there’s no way I’d be justified to do what this agent did! Disgusting what the feds are saying to justify.
Well said and I agree.
